About me

My Passion Lies in Working with People

What makes things happen the way they do? What helps you bring about change? How do you initiate that change? By asking questions that lead you to the deeper layers of yourself, insights emerge that clear the way for transformation. And it is in that process that my passion lies.

Chon

My father was dyslexic. When he had to register my birth at the civil registry, he carried a note from my mother with the names they had chosen together. However, things didn’t go as planned: my second name became 'Chon' instead of 'John,' and my third name didn’t make it onto the record at all. Despite this, I’m proud of my name—it’s my fondest memory of my father, who passed away when I was just four years old.

Around the age of 18, my spiritual journey began when I took aura and chakra meditation courses at 'Praktijk Positief' with Peter Gouw. It was a profound process for me. Beyond the beautiful spiritual experiences, it also brought forth the processing of deeply buried emotions—feelings I hadn’t even realized were there.

During one of the sessions, Peter created an aura drawing for me. He was in a trance, eyes closed, and asked me to say my name. I said, 'Sebastiaan Witteveen.' There was a brief silence before he said, 'No.' I was puzzled. Thinking he meant my full name, I spoke it again—but I pronounced 'Chon' as 'John.' Another silence, and again he said, 'No.'

This happened several times until I paused to reflect deeply. Then I pronounced my name with 'Chon' sounding like 'Gon.' After a moment of silence, Peter said with absolute certainty, 'Yes!'\\\\\\\" That moment gave me goosebumps. Amazing, isn’t it?
