How coaches become visible

FocusCoachee is first and foremost a professional workspace for coaches and their clients. Coaches can create a profile and, when they choose to, become visible to people looking for guidance.

A coach profile can include information about specializations, working style, target group, experience, location, online availability, and practical scheduling. The goal is to help people looking for a coach better assess whether a coach fits their needs.

Coaches on FocusCoachee work independently and remain responsible for their own services, qualifications, agreements, and guidance. FocusCoachee provides the digital environment in which the coaching journey can be structured, recorded, and followed.

Coaching requires trust. That is why FocusCoachee is designed with care for privacy, data protection, and professional responsibility.

Data is processed with the purpose of supporting coaching journeys in a structured and secure way. FocusCoachee is privacy-conscious, supports European GDPR principles, and uses security measures such as encrypted connections, separate access for coaches and coachees, and where possible additional protection such as two-factor authentication.

Coaches remain the owners of their professional relationship with their coachees. FocusCoachee does not take over the role of coach, does not make diagnoses, and does not give personal, medical, or psychological advice. The platform supports the process: recording goals, encouraging reflection, following up on actions, and making progress visible.

Who's behind it

FocusCoachee was founded by Sebastiaan Witteveen, based in the Netherlands.

FocusCoachee was created from the conviction that coaching is often organized in a fragmented way. Many coaches work with separate notes, emails, calendars, forms, documents, and reminders. As a result, valuable context gets lost and progress becomes hard to track.

FocusCoachee was developed for coaches who take their profession seriously and want to offer their clients more continuity between sessions. The platform brings the practical side of coaching together in one environment, creating more space for the real work: attention, reflection, ownership, and growth.
